Shrunk Version of the Classic Macintosh
John from RetroMacCast has come up with a smaller version of classic Macintosh that was revealed by Apple Inc. years ago. If you love computers and want to own one of those retro computers, this one is perfect for you.
This tiny replica of Macintosh runs on Raspberry Pi and has a System 6 user interface. Raspberry pi is a credit card sized single board computer which was created for education purposes and is perfect for a small computer like this. System 6 has been a part of Mac OS family and gives you the classic Macintosh experience.
It also has HDMI, Ethernet and USB Ports. The screen is a 3.5″ screen with 320×200 resolution.
Even though, it runs on Raspberry Pi which is not at all powerful, Mini Mac also supports those old games you used to play on your Macintosh. As you can see in the video, you can also use classic applications like McPaint as well.
On the whole, this effort is appreciable and it can totally be taken as a tribute to the classic Macintosh that after all these years still continues to change lives.
